Learn To Curl

Learn-To-Curl Programs

Basic skills of delivering a rock, sweeping, strategy, and playing different positions are covered in these five-session programs that run for two hours each week. Participants will be playing in game situations by the end of the program and be ready to then move on to one of our novice leagues

Curling equipment is provided at no charge. Participants need to bring clean running shoes and warm clothing in layers that is either stretchy or loose-fitting enough to enable you to comfortably get into a curling delivery position.

About MCC

Our facility was built in 1959 and still holds the same inviting atmosphere that it did back then. With six sheets of ice, a cafe, bar/lounge, games room and meeting room, we are able to accommodate events of all kinds. We are continuing to work on our club to ensure it is up-to-date, while still respecting its history and character.

The Marpole Curling Club acknowledges that it is situated on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
