As Manager, I would like to say that I am looking forward to working with such a great team of Executives and Board Members. Over the past months in this position as well as the past years as a club member, I have seen the volunteered hours that they have provided to the club, generating amazing outcomes such as leading leagues, coaching juniors, organizing bonspiels, securing advertising partners, club maintenance and countless other efforts that have benefited the club tremendously. The Board’s implementation of a strategic plan, integrating with all of the other functions they perform, provide the club with a promising future and I am proud to work beside them.
Many thanks go to the Marpole Curling Club Foundation for their extraordinary fundraising efforts throughout the season. Events such as the garage sale, plant sale and silent auction accumulated enough funds to generously donate a cheque to the Club for $10,000. Their contribution is respectfully appreciated and gratefully accepted.
